full-time Position SummaryThe Infrastructure Technician installs physical security technology and supporting IT infrastructure at commercial customer sites. The core of the role is installing video surveillance, electronic access control, and intrusion detection systems, with additional work supporting structured cabling and general IT infrastructure projects as needed. This is a hands-on field role focused on clean, code-compliant installations that meet project specifications and deliver a professional customer experience.



Key ResponsibilitiesInstall physical security technology at commercial sites, including IP cameras, NVRs, access control panels, readers, door hardware, and intrusion panels, sensors, and keypadsInstall and wire door hardware including electric strikes, mag locks, request-to-exit devices, and door contactsTerminate and test device cabling (copper and fiber) as required to complete security and IT installationsSupport structured cabling projects, including cable pathway installation, pulling, termination, and testingSupport general IT infrastructure projects, including equipment rack-and-stack, mounting wireless access points, and site buildsFollow project scope, drawings, and installation standards; flag site conditions or scope changes to the project leadPerform basic device power-up and connectivity checks to confirm devices are ready for programmingCoordinate on site with cabling partners, general contractors, and other tradesKeep job sites clean and safe; protect customer property and finishesComplete daily job reports, as-built markups, and material usage accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized company vehicle, tools, and stockRepresent the company professionally with customers and partnersRequired Qualifications1+ years installing physical security or low-voltage systems in commercial environmentsAbility to terminate and test copper and fiber cablingAbility to read wiring diagrams, floor plans, and installation instructionsComfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and liftsValid driver's license with clean record; able to lift 50 lbs and pass a background and drug screenTexas Department of Public Safety Alarm Installer and Electronic Access Control Device Installer license required; if not currently held, must be eligible and obtain upon hire (cost covered by the company)Preferred Qualifications (a plus, not required)Experience programming or configuring security platforms (e.g., Axis Communications, Genea, Hanwha Vision, Ubiquiti, Avigilon)Basic IP networking knowledge (IP addressing, PoE, switches, wireless access points)Manufacturer or industry certificationsExperience with intercom, gate, or integrated systems recblid x98immy29nuv3688v4e1dpynnt82rc
