Join Our Team as an Assistant Director of Nursing Support Nursing Excellence and Resident Care We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment. Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing In this role, you will:
Support Staffing Needs :
Step in to assist floor staffing when needed
Oversee Resident Care :
Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs
Manage Nursing Staff :
Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs
Ensure Accurate Documentation :
Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records
Develop Care Plans :
Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans
Support Staff Resources :
Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources
Uphold Infection Control :
Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who: Is a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing Has strong technical skills and proven leadership/management experience Brings a background in geriatric or long-term care nursing Embraces a restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills Has working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards Benefits (Full-Time)
