Full-Time On-Site Salary Range (based on experience): $75,000 - $95,000 annually Position Overview Only Love PPECC is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee all clinical and nursing operations within our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPECC). This leadership role is critical to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and compassionate care for medically fragile and technologically dependent children. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Private Duty Nursing (PDN) experience, strong pediatric clinical expertise, and proven leadership in supervising nursing teams within highly regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Oversee all nursing and direct care services provided at Only Love PPECC in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care Ensure all minors' plans of care are implemented as prescribed by the physician, and regularly review and update care plans with the interdisciplinary team Ensure full compliance with Texas

regulations, including staffing ratios (per §550.803 and §550.410), daily census documentation, and required records Supervise, support, and evaluate all nursing and direct care staff, ensuring licensure, competencies, and ongoing education remain current Review, audit, and verify daily clinical documentation to ensure adherence to prescribed care plans; address and document corrective actions for any deviations Conduct regular clinical audits, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys, inspections, and audits, including up-to-date documentation and daily staffing records Lead policy implementation, emergency preparedness, infection control, and clinical best practices Supervise hiring processes, verifying licensure, certifications, and relevant experience of candidates Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity, safety, and quality of care Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff Conduct orientation and in-service training for new and current staff on nursing standards, infection control, and emergency procedures Promote Only Love PPECC's mission, values, and family-centered care philosophy Required Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas under the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 301 CPR and Basic First Aid certification No history of disciplinary action Experience Minimum three (3) years of pediatric or extended care nursing experience in an extended care, facility-based, or Private Duty Nursing setting At least one (1) year in a supervisory or nursing leadership role Extensive Private Duty Nursing (PDN) experience strongly preferred, particularly with medically fragile and technology-dependent children Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance, audits, and clinical oversight Skills & Competencies Strong expertise in pediatric nursing care and supervision of clinical teams Deep understanding of PDN workflows, care coordination, and staffing models Proven ability to lead, train, and evaluate clinical teams Proficiency in regulatory compliance, documentation review, audits, and regulatory readiness Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to make sound clinical decisions in fast-paced or high-acuity environments Physical & Work Requirements Prolonged standing and walking, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases Flexible scheduling with the ability to respond to PRN emergency calls Some local travel, occasionally in unpleasant weather Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance Why Join Only Love PPECC?
