Active license of PTA, OTA, PT, OT, or SLP in Colorado Job Overview We're looking for an experienced and driven Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy team on Colorado's Western Slope in beautiful Glenwood Springs . This is a key leadership role for someone who brings clinical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering resident-centered care. You'll have the opportunity to shape clinical practices, support a strong interdisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact every day. Responsibilities Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that meet the needs of patients while adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines. Manage daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive care plans are developed and followed for each patient. Oversee utilization management processes to optimize patient outcomes and resource use. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Provide financial management oversight, including budgeting and expense tracking for the rehabilitation department. Foster a positive work environment by supporting human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Stay current with trends in managed care and rehabilitation practices to enhance service delivery. Skills Strong understanding of utilization management principles and practices. Experience in medical administrative support within a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred. Proficient in financial management related to healthcare operations. Knowledge of human resources processes as they pertain to staffing and team development. Familiarity with clinic operations, particularly in a managed care environment. Experience handling medical records efficiently while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Background in medical office administration or veterinary practices is a plus. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar software systems is advantageous.
