Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation services with passion and precision. Duties Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Lead and mentor multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development. Coordinate patient rehabilitation plans tailored to individual needs, including those with disabilities or visual impairments. Ensure compliance with safety standards such as manual handling procedures, heavy lifting protocols, and basic life support (BLS) requirements like CPR. Oversee staff scheduling, training programs, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes in acute care and long-term care settings. Qualifications Extensive experience in rehabilitation medicine within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. Proven leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary teams in clinical settings. Hands-on experience with patient care involving physiotherapy techniques and rehabilitation services management. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments. Long-term care experience combined with acute care background is highly desirable. $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
