Job Description

A Skilled Nursing Facility is currently seeking an experience Rehab Director to join our team. The Rehab Director is accountable for the day-to-day management of the activities of the Therapy Department to assure proper utilization of available resources and continuous quality improvement. Responsible for the development of the Rehab Department and coordinating the integration with other therapies.
Responsibilities:
Direct the rehabilitation staff in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Develop, motivate and complete performance evaluations of subordinates to ensure a high degree of quality and efficient use of resources, human and material. Directly responsible for providing an excellent learning atmosphere for staff, including clinical education programs for professional programs to enhance recruitment and retention. Responsible for the orientation of new employees, including policy and procedure as it pertains to the department and relates to the facility. Assist in the establishment of the departments operating and capital budgets to assure adequate resources for professional development and departmental enhancement. Effective and efficient utilization maintaining high standards of quality. Recruitment and retention of high quality personnel consistent with job requirements.

Self-initiating with a high emphasis on visibility and availability for staff. Responsible for the departments quality improvement program. Interview, select, promote and counsel departmental personnel in conjunction with the Company Policy and Procedures MaJmal. Assist with departmental efforts for marketing in areas of interest. Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs and staff meetings. Maintain confidentiality of necessary information. Utilize supplies and equipment properly and without waste. Follow established infection control precautions, adhering to Universal Blood and Body Fluid precautions, following policy and center specific infection control policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Active therapy license (PT, OT, SLP) Currently registered/licensed with applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment. At least three (3) years' supervisory experience in post-acute care or skilled nursing facility We look forward to hearing from you!
