Director of Rehab DOR Job Summary:
Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare facility in East Moline, Illinois , is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Rehab DOR to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Rehab DOR will play a vital role in shaping the rehabilitation programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Director of Rehab DOR will lead by example, demonstrating a passion for rehabilitation, a commitment to excellence, and a focus on resident-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, providing oversight and guidance to ensure high-quality services that meet the needs of our residents Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs that align with the facility's mission and goals Collaborate with the medical and nursing teams to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Identify and develop opportunities for professional development and growth within the team Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication among staff members Develop and manage budgets and resources to support rehabilitation programs and services Maintain accurate records and reports, including assessment data, treatment plans, and resident outcomes
Requirements:
Minimum 1 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a long-term care environment Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology) Current licensure/certification as a rehabilitation professional (e.g., PT, OT, SLP) Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team building and staff development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities Computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records and rehabilitation software
