Director of Rehab Job Summary Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab, a leading provider of post-acute care, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Director of Rehab to join our team. As a Director of Rehab, you will oversee the daily operations of our rehabilitation department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and support. Responsibilities Lead the rehabilitation team to provide outstanding patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs, including setting goals and outcomes, and monitoring progress Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions Manage rehabilitation staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards Participate in quality assessment and improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with rehabilitation software and electronic medical records Servant's heart and commitment to excellence in patient care About Our Company Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab is a leading provider of post-acute care, serving with pride.
