This is a treating leadership position that allows you to stay connected to patient care while leading and supporting the rehabilitation department. Occupational Therapy Assistants are strongly preferred. Licensed Occupational Therapists may also be considered. Key responsibilities include:

Lead, support and develop rehabilitation staff Coordinate therapy staffing, scheduling and caseloads Provide patient treatment within your professional scope of practice Promote high-quality clinical outcomes and patient experience Oversee documentation, compliance and quality processes Monitor department performance and operational goals Partner with facility leadership and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training and staff development Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing education as appropriate Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow therapy services Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, facility staff and referral partners

Qualifications For Occupational Therapy Assistants:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Minnesota OTA license or eligibility for licensure Occupational Therapists may also be considered and must: Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Hold or be eligible for Minnesota OT licensure

Preferred:

Skilled nursing, long-term care or similar rehabilitation experience Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience Strong communication, organizational and team-building skills You don't necessarily need years of management experience to be considered.
