A Director of Rehabilitation directs rehabilitation services for a hospital, clinic or specialized rehabilitation facility. Supervises rehabilitation therapy staff and counselors and coordinates services for patients or clients. Manages scheduling, budgets, facility equipment and resources.

Exempt Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Supported Employment Services to lead our employment programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing program operations, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial performance, and expanding employment opportunities that support Competitive Integrated Employment. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Supported Employment programs. Supervise managers, Employment Specialists, and Job Coaches. Ensure compliance with NC Medicaid Innovations Waiver, 1915(i), Vocational Rehabilitation (EIPD), CMS, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations. Manage department budget, billing, productivity, and financial performance. Build and maintain partnerships with employers, Vocational Rehabilitation, and community organizations. Monitor program quality, documentation, and employment outcomes. Recruit, train, coach, and develop department staff. Promote person-centered services and continuous quality improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in Supported Employment, IDD, or human services. At least three (3) years of supervisory experience. Experience with Medicaid-funded services, Vocational Rehabilitation, budgeting, compliance, and quality assurance. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
