Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Full-Time Lead Our Rehabilitation Team to Excellence! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee and lead our therapy department. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic rehabilitation leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes, mentoring staff, and driving operational excellence. The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the overall management and coordination of rehabilitation services, ensuring the highest quality of care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Responsibilities Direct and oversee the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services. Lead, mentor, and support therapy staff to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes. Monitor resident progress and ensure the delivery of individualized, patient-centered care plans. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare and insurance guidelines. Manage department productivity, staffing, scheduling, and budget performance. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes. Monitor quality measures and implement performance improvement initiatives. Participate in admissions, care plan meetings, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of all clinical records. Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-focused culture within the therapy department. Qualifications Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the applicable state. Previous leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute care setting preferred. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation services, Medicare regulations, and reimbursement systems. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
