Job Description
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) Prospect Park, PA | Full-Time Lead a High-Performing Therapy Team. Drive Clinical Excellence. Aventura at Prospect is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead its in-house therapy department. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed rehabilitation professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Physical Therapists (PT) and Occupational Therapists (OT) are preferred; however, licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are encouraged to apply. As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will provide strategic and operational leadership while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and team success. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing interdisciplinary therapy team Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, and departmental performance Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and company regulations Drive quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence Monitor clinical documentation, reimbursement, and therapy program effectiveness Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Analyze department metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and outcomes Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous professional development Qualifications Active Pennsylvania license as a PT or OT preferred; PTA, COTA, and SLP candidates are also encouraged to apply Previous rehabilitation management or Director of Rehabilitation experience preferred Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute rehabilitation experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, rehabilitation operations, and regulatory compliance Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Demonstrated ability to lead teams, improve clinical outcomes, and achieve operational goals Why Join Aventura at Prospect? ✅ Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits ✅ Supportive leadership and collaborative culture ✅ Opportunities for professional growth and advancement ✅ In-house therapy program focused on quality patient care ✅ Make a meaningful impact on patients, residents, and your team every day If you're ready to lead a successful rehabilitation department and make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
