Columbia, SC Therapy Services Lead with Purpose as a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) PruittHealth is seeking a dedicated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee therapy services in our skilled nursing and post-acute care setting. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced rehabilitation professional who is passionate about improving patient outcomes while guiding a team of Therapists. As a Director of Rehabilitation, you'll ensure quality therapy programs, provide staff development, manage compliance, and help drive patient-centered care.   • Comprehensive health plans Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring high-quality patient care Supervise and support a team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and OTAs Coordinate therapy services in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and documentation standards Monitor departmental performance, productivity, and financial goals Recruit, train, and mentor therapy staff to support career growth and retention Oversee scheduling and resource allocation to optimize patient care delivery Drive quality improvement initiatives within the therapy department
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Current, active license as a Physical Therapist (PT) Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Therapy from an accredited program Prior leadership or management experience in a skilled nursing, inpatient rehab, or post-acute care setting strongly preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care Family Makes Us Stronger.
