Ensure compliance with all rehabilitation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Oversee clinical team leadership by providing mentorship, training on anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, manual handling techniques, and heavy lifting safety protocols. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless patient care transitions across acute care settings and long-term care facilities. Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans while ensuring adherence to healthcare policies and regulations. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by integrating evidence-based practices for patients with visual impairments or other disabilities requiring specialized rehabilitation services. Requirements Extensive experience in rehabilitation medicine with a strong background in physiotherapy and patient care management. Proven leadership skills in clinical team supervision within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation regulations, safety standards including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and basic life support protocols. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments; familiarity with anatomy and physiology is essential. Strong understanding of heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety procedures in a healthcare environment. Prior experience in long-term care or acute care settings is highly desirable.
