Up to $10,000 Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Job Summary The Electrophysiology Technician (EP Tech) supports electrophysiology and cardiac procedures, providing technical expertise and assistance to the Electrophysiologist and Cardiology team. This role includes preparation, monitoring, and patient care during procedures, as well as operating and troubleshooting specialized equipment. The EP Tech ensures patient safety, equipment readiness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Essential Functions Assists the Electrophysiologist and Cardiology team during electrophysiology procedures, performing scrub, hemodynamic monitoring, and circulating duties. Monitors and assesses patient status, managing cardiovascular hemodynamics, and initiating Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols as necessary. Operates and troubleshoots electrophysiology equipment, including cardiac stimulators, ensuring proper setup and functionality for each procedure. Provides pre- and post-procedural patient care, including assessments and instruction to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Basic Life Support required and ACLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support required RCES
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred or RCVT
- Registered Cardiovasc Technologist preferred INDSURGIMG
