26216 Position Summary Performs and reviews baseline patient assessments, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures. Responsibilities
  • Provides procedure set-up and scrub assistance to physician during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures
  • Accurately and efficiently monitors, interprets, collects and records patient data
  • Provides patient care as directed by a qualified physician
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or 2 years of electrophysiology technologist experience in lieu of education required
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred
  • 1 year Electrophysiology tech experience preferred
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire
  • Must be available to be on call, as needed, and able to arrive at the hospital within 60 minutes of a page when on call Working Conditions
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
  • Must be able to maintain a standing position
  • Typical equipment used in a clinical job
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
