26216 Position Summary Performs and reviews baseline patient assessments, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures. Responsibilities- Provides procedure set-up and scrub assistance to physician during diagnostic EP and advanced implant procedures
- Accurately and efficiently monitors, interprets, collects and records patient data
- Provides patient care as directed by a qualified physician
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of tasks
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or 2 years of electrophysiology technologist experience in lieu of education required
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred
- 1 year Electrophysiology tech experience preferred
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 90 days of hire
- Must be available to be on call, as needed, and able to arrive at the hospital within 60 minutes of a page when on call Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to maintain a standing position
- Typical equipment used in a clinical job
- Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
