Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Board registration within one (1) year from date of hire required. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Preferred:

Prior EEG Technician experience strongly preferred.

Essential Functions:

The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician. As part of the testing process, an EEG Technician will gather a patient's medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure. During testing, the EEG Technician monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities. After testing is complete, the EEG Technician reports their findings to the patient's doctor for further analysis.
