Up to $10,000 Educational Assistance Paid Time Off (PTO) Position Overview Turkey Creek Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented EEG Technician / Neurodiagnostic Tech to perform electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potential (EVP) tests. In this role, you will operate specialized equipment to support neurological diagnoses, manage patient care documentation, and maintain high standards of clinical safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Testing:

Perform EEGs and EVPs according to physician orders and established departmental standards.

Patient Care:

Clearly explain procedures to patients and families to reduce anxiety and promote a positive experience.

Observation & Documentation:

Monitor and report patient condition changes that impact test accuracy to medical staff; accurately log billing charges in the system.

Operations & Scheduling:

Coordinate patient appointments, manage follow-up communications, and keep the work area clean, organized, and supplied.

Departmental Support:

Respond promptly to on-call requests and adjust scheduling to support patient needs. Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to all facility policies.

Qualifications Required :

ABRET Certification Required 0-2 years of experience in performing EEGs or related clinical experience required BCLS

•Basic Life Support required

Preferred :

Technical School completion of a formal EEG Technician training program preferred Core Competencies Knowledge of EEG/EVP testing methods and medical equipment. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently, manage medical records, and operate basic clinical computer applications.
