Apex EMS is a newly established non-emergency medical transportation company dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable, and professional care. We are seeking certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As an EMT at Apex EMS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from healthcare facilities. You will work closely with other EMTs and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care during transit.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles. Respond promptly to non-emergency and emergency calls. Provide basic life support (BLS) and patient care as needed. Assist with patient transfers, ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care. Inspect and restock medical equipment and supplies. Adhere to all company protocols and state regulations.

Qualifications:

Current Illinois EMT-B or EMT-P certification. Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean driving record. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 125 pounds. Commitment to providing compassionate and professional care.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in non-emergency medical transport or EMS. Familiarity with local healthcare facilities and communities.
