Angel Rides, Inc. is growing, and we are looking for a dependable, motivated Full-Time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team serving the Greater Fredericksburg area and surrounding communities. This position is ideal for an EMT who takes pride in patient care, enjoys working as part of a team, and wants a consistent full-time position with a growing EMS organization. Our crews provide medically necessary ambulance transportation while focusing on patient advocacy, safety, professionalism, and treating every patient with dignity. What You'll Do As a Full-Time EMT with Angel Rides, you will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) interfacility transportation for patients throughout the region. Transports include hospital-to-hospital transfers, facility-to-facility transports, hospital discharges, dialysis and medical appointments, and other medically necessary ambulance transports.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing thorough patient assessments and obtaining and monitoring vital signs Providing appropriate BLS care before and throughout transport Recognizing changes in patient condition and responding appropriately Safely lifting, moving, positioning, and securing patients Completing accurate, detailed, and timely electronic patient care reports Communicating professionally with nurses, facility staff, dispatch, patients, and families Completing ambulance, equipment, and supply checks Restocking and maintaining a clean, organized, and transport-ready ambulance Working closely with your partner, dispatch, and leadership to keep daily operations running efficiently Requirements Current Virginia EMT certification or eligibility to practice in Virginia Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong patient assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to safely lift and move patients and EMS equipment Dependable attendance and ability to report for scheduled shifts on time Professional appearance and attitude Ability to work effectively with a partner and as part of a larger EMS team Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care Preferred, But Not Required Previous ambulance or interfacility transport experience EVOC certification Familiarity with Fredericksburg and the surrounding region Newer EMTs are encouraged to apply.
