The emergency trauma tech assists nurses in transporting patients, assisting patients with ADL, collecting specimens, performing EKGs and finger stick blood sugar checks.

09 Hourly Qualifications Knowledge of suturing and suture removal, dressing application, and splinting Skill in CPR and EKG's BLS Required Skill in preparing wounds for treatment, set up and assisting with special procedures such as incision and drainage of infected areas Ability to assist nursing staff with routine patient care Ability to perform as a team member and provide professional staff support to physicians and nurses Ability to function effectively with patients Ability to lift, push, pull Prior ED Tech or EMT experience highly desired
