Job Description

Position Summary The Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. The ER Tech assists with patient care, performs clinical and non-clinical duties, and supports the healthcare team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients of all ages. Qualifications Completion of an approved Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care or emergency setting preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong clinical and technical skills relevant to emergency care Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to patient needs Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care practices Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
