Requirements:
Familiar with medical terminology. Clerical duties include familiarity with Order Entry. CPR within 30 days of hire. Assists nursing staff when directed to by performing the tasks appropriate for skill level. Answers the telephone. Maintains a clean work area. Transports patients when needed. Assists staff with clerical needs. Files medical records appropriately. Orders labs, x-rays, cat scans and ultrasounds as needed and when directed to. Files on correct charts. Maintains ED log with accurate charges. Assists physicians with consults, follow-ups and transfers. Registers ER patients when Registration is not available- The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.
