Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Technician to join our team! About the Opportunity We are seeking a motived, dependable Endoscopy Technician to join out newly constructed in-office endoscopy suite in Framingham, Massachusetts. As an Endoscopy Technician with Gastro Health, you will: Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure safe and efficient endoscopic procedures. Assist physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after procedures while providing a safe, supportive environment for patients. Monitor patient needs throughout the procedure and promptly report concerns or changes to the Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager. Clean, disinfect, inspect, and maintain endoscopy equipment in accordance with infection prevention and safety standards. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain endoscopy and patient monitoring equipment. Help maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies and equipment. Accurately complete required documentation and maintain endoscopy records. Recognize the limits of the Endoscopy Technician role and promptly communicate situations requiring nursing or physician intervention. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and errors in accordance with established policies. Participate in quality improvement, infection prevention, safety, and materials management initiatives. Communicate effectively and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. Follow established policies, procedures, and the direction of supervisors and physicians. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Candidate Requirements High school diploma is required. At least two years' experience in some aspect of the medical field to assure familiarity with medical terminology. GI experience preferred. We offer more than a paycheck.
