Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join the team - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Days Hours:
8:30am-5pm, 72 hours per pay period
What Your Day Looks Like:
You will assist physicians and nurses during medical procedures using endoscopes to diagnose or treat gastrointestinal problems by maintaining safe and clean patient care areas and equipment. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will be: Assisting with patient assessments by collecting patient data and reporting findings; Sanitizing and setting up rooms and equipment for procedures, and ensuring necessary supplies are available Assisting with pre-op preparation of patients, and anticipating, preparing, and planning for physicians' needs, including patient positioning, as procedures are underway Assisting physicians with the endoscopy procedure, including handling of scopes and introduction of instruments into the scope Collecting, preparing, and labeling specimens collected during the procedure Performing inventory counts and restocking supplies
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma required
Skills/Experience:
Patient care, customer service, and listening skills; 1 year of CNA experience preferred
Licensure/Certification:
CNA or MA within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and stooping during room setups and procedures; frequent lifting and carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 10lbs., and infrequently up to 50lbs.; ability to move and position patients during procedures Benefits That Support You Competitive wages, annual merit increases, employee wellness program For a comprehensive list of benefits, please click here: CMH benefits.
