Job Description

SCI-FIT (Spinal Cord Injury Functional Integrated Therapy) is looking for an energetic, personable, and dedicated person to add to our team. We are an exercise based therapy facility which specializes in working with individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders. •Applicants are not required to have experience working with special populations, but it is a plus. This position is part time to start (20-25 hours per week while training), with the potential to become full time after the training period. This job is very labor intensive and will require a lot of demand on your body. Applicants must be able to properly demonstrate safe lifting techniques with heavy weight (75+ lbs). Responsibilities Work one on one with clients that have spinal cord injuries or neurological disorders to help improve all aspects of their life Keep documentation and maintain clients files Be able to learn, work hard, and challenge yourself Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the day Skills Experience in the fitness or health industry The ability to properly communicate with clients and co-workers Punctuality and willingness to "go the extra mile" Degree in Kinesiology or related field
