What they do
An Exercise Physiologist or Specialist directs exercise programs for clients who are recovering from injuries or illnesses, who have disabilities or other chronic conditions, or who want to minimize health risks. Recommends exercise routines or modifications, and monitors patient health. Works in recreational centers, hospitals or other facilities. May provide advice to athletes and people interested in sports training.

Between 7:30am - 4:00pm (flexible hours/days)$20.50/hourJob DescriptionDesign, plan, and implement fitness and well-being programs tailored to the needs and preferences of senior residents.Conduct exercise classes, including but not limited to strength training, balance exercises, aerobics, aqua aerobicsProvide individual guidance and support to residents to ensure proper form, safety, and motivation during classes and exercise sessions for all residents.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, or a related field, or credit hours toward a degree preferred.
Relevant certifications or specialized training in senior fitness is preferred.
