Job Description
About the Role As a Therapist, you will deliver high-impact clinical services including assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. Your work will directly support clients recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups Conduct intake assessments, mental status exams, and reassessments Offer clinical diagnoses and treatment recommendations Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards Participate in case conferences and treatment planning Respond to mental health crises and conduct 5150 evaluations when needed Conduct utilization reviews and collaborate with the care team Deliver in-service trainings on behavioral health topics Qualifications Current State of California license (AMFT, ACSW, or equivalent) OR appropriate certification for therapy services Strong understanding of addiction treatment, mental health systems, and recovery models (including 12-step programs) CPR/First Aid Certified; recent TB and health screening required Knowledge of HIPAA, ethical boundaries, and clinical documentation standards Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and teams Why Join Us?
