Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history and inform treatment approaches. Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Facilitate therapeutic sessions—both individually and in groups—to support clients in processing their trauma and building effective coping strategies. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integrated care for every patient. Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies. Patient Population / Client Focus The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including complex PTSD, severe anxiety, and various dissociative disorders. Qualifications A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California. Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly focused on trauma-informed care.
