What to Expect Consider beforesubmittingan application: This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students:

If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work40 hoursper week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-timeduring the academic year. Tesla is seeking a highly motivated Intern to support the Fleet Operations & Compliance team by coordinating fleet operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving process efficiencies across the business. In this role, you will support several verticals of the Fleet team, including Demo and Marketing Fleet, Internal Fleet, Fleet Repair, and Specialized Fleet. You will use data dashboards to monitor performance, identify opportunities to meet and exceed KPIs, and streamline processes that enhance fleet performance. This role offers hands-on experience in operations, analytics, and communication across departments while directly contributing to operational excellence. What You'll Do

Coordinate with cross-functional teams on Fleet-related initiatives, such as vehicle allocations, business programs, and metrics

Monitor KPI dashboards to various fleet metrics, including dwell, sell-through rates, conversion rate, and forecasting

Proactively analyze data to identify bottlenecks and recommend actions to improve fleet efficiency and readiness

Communicate insights, escalations, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Support logistics and scheduling for vehicle servicing, repairs, registration, and allocation

Contribute to standardization of processes and improvements in systems and workflows

Help minimize vehicle downtime and increase throughput to maximize fleet performance What You'll Bring

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program (Business Operations, Business Management, Data Analytics, or related field)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-informed decisions

Experience with dashboards and data tools (Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.) preferred

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to collaborate across teams

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment

Self-motivated and eager to learn with a proactive and results-oriented mindset

Ability to work independently and as a member of a highly collaborative team

Expected Compensation

$20.55 - $35.17 + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
