The Nevada County Behavioral Health Department is excited to welcome a Behavioral Health Therapist to our Clinical Adult Therapy Team . If you value compassion, collaboration, and high-quality clinical care, you may be the perfect fit. We are recruiting at the Behavioral Health Therapist I, II, and Licensed level. Please be sure to apply for all levels you wish to be considered for. What You'll Do Provide individual and group therapy using trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and evidence-based practices. Complete clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and documentation in alignment with Medi-Cal and county standards. Support clients experiencing a wide range of mental health needs, including co-occurring conditions, through ongoing therapy and care coordination. Partner with case managers, psychiatrists, crisis staff, hospitals, and community agencies to ensure clients receive the right care at the right time. Participate in team meetings, clinical consultations, and program development efforts that strengthen services for adults in our community Why Join Us? This position is part-time temporary; part-time employees work an average of 20 hours but not more than 29 hours per week, for a maximum of 960 hours per fiscal year.
