Job Description

We are a 24-hour residential treatment facility that specializes in addiction and dual-diagnosis. We are looking for qualified staff that meet the minimum qualifications (Master's Degree and registered or licensed with the BBS) and that are interested in working with athletes to support their emotional, mental, and physical growth. Statements of Purpose The therapist fulfills direct service, including individual, couple/family and group psychotherapy, consultations, and crisis intervention for weekday and weekend treatment. Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems, and 12 step/recovery resources in the community. Maintain appropriate documentation as required. Conduct assessments of clients at the time of admission and re-assessments as required. Conduct mental status examinations. Provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the client's history, signs, and symptoms. Provide individual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy as needed. Ability to demonstrate respect for the cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff. Crises intervention services, including 5150 determinations. Treatment Planning. Group Facilitation. Individual Therapy Trauma-informed therapy Participation in Case Conference Reviews/Treatment Team Meetings. Provide Utilizations Reviews as required. Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues. Provide in-service training to staff and/or trainee on mental health topics as needed. Knowledge of the philosophy and approach of the 12-step model of recovery Knowledge of

Minimum Qualification:
Master's Degree and Registered or Licensed with the BBS or Board of Psychology, required. 1 year behavioral health or treatment center, preferred. Must be able to pass live scan background check Must be available to work weekends for the occasional client crisis or staff call out Documentation need upon hire: Licensure Diploma Transcripts TB test
CPR & First Aid Compensation:
depends on credentials, years of experience, training, and education.

$38.00 - $55.00 per hour
