qualified staff that meet the minimum qualifications (Master's Degree and registered or licensed with the BBS) and that are interested in working with athletes to support their emotional, mental, and physical growth. Statements of Purpose The Weekend Therapist facilitates hands-on, activity-based therapeutic experiences to support clients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral growth. This role uses techniques such as art, movement, outdoor activities, team-building, mindfulness, and other non-traditional approaches to foster engagement, self-awareness, and connection. The therapist works closely with the clinical team to align experiential sessions with each client's treatment goals. Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities Group Facilitation Incorporate creative, physical, or expressive modalities (e.g., art, nature, movement, mindfulness, music, drama, ropes courses). Promote emotional expression, communication skills, and personal insight through non-verbal and interactive experiences. Adapt interventions to meet the developmental, emotional, and cognitive needs of participants. Collaborate with clinicians to support individualized treatment plans. Provide timely documentation of sessions, client participation, and clinical observations. Ensure all activities are conducted safely and therapeutically. Participate in weekend treatment team huddles or debriefs as needed. Maintain therapeutic boundaries and uphold ethical, trauma-informed care practices. Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems, and 12 step/recovery resources in the community. Ability to demonstrate respect for the cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff. Crises intervention services, including 5150 determinations. Participation in Case Conference Reviews/Treatment Team Meetings. Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues. Knowledge of

Minimum Qualification:
A Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science. Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LMFT, LCSW, or
LPCC, OR
registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT, or APCC. (Must have a number with BBS) 1 year behavioral health or treatment center, REQUIRED Must be able to pass live scan background check Ability to work Saturdays and/or Sundays consistently. Valid California Driver license with clean driving record Pass drug screen and employment physical Documentation need upon hire: Licensure TB test
