Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and bilingual Therapist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals and families with a focus on Spanish-speakers facing various challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions using faith-informed counseling that addresses the unique needs of each family unit. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the mental health needs of clients and families. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and familial/couple issues. Utilize Christian counseling principles when appropriate to support clients' spiritual needs. Implement Emotion-Focus Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, or Solution-Based therapy techniques to assist clients in achieving therapeutic goals. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with ICD-9 guidelines. Ability to complete documentation deadlines (36 hours from appointment). Familiar with the utilization of EHR and telehealth technology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Participate in one hour of direct supervision for every five hours of client contact. No more than six hours of supervision during any single week. Stay informed about best practices in psychotherapy and mental health counseling through ongoing professional development. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Valid associate licensure as a therapist or counselor in California. Bilingual (Fluent) One year of experience in child and family counseling is preferred. Familiarity with working with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and other disorders. Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation techniques and mental health counseling methodologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Open to conducting in-person sessions.
