Job Description
Clean Treatment Center is an outpatient rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals struggling with addiction. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by conducting individual therapy sessions and facilitating therapeutic group sessions, all under the supervision of our experienced clinical directors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans in accordance with the needs of each client.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Actively participate in clinical supervision and seek guidance from our clinical directors to enhance professional growth and development.
- Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and treatment modalities in the field of addiction and mental health.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current registration as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with the relevant licensing board.
- Experience conducting individual therapy sessions, preferably in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting.
- Strong understanding of group dynamics and experience facilitating therapeutic groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish a therapeutic alliance with clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
