Job Description
Denver Springs, a behavioral health hospital in Englewood, CO, seeks a full-time Inpatient Therapist to provide evidence-based care for adults and adolescents experiencing mental health and addiction crises. In this role, you will complete biopsychosocial assessments, lead individual and group therapy, and develop collaborative treatment and discharge plans. Working within a compassionate, patient-centered culture, you'll partner closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff to ensure safety and high-quality clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy for inpatient adults and adolescents Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate daily with psychiatrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record Participate in treatment team meetings, discharge planning, and safety planning Educate patients and families on coping skills, relapse prevention, and community resources Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards for behavioral health practice Contribute to a safe, trauma-informed, recovery-focused inpatient environment Required Skills Clinical assessment Treatment planning Individual psychotherapy Group therapy facilitation Crisis intervention Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Risk assessment and safety planning Family therapy Interdisciplinary team collaboration Knowledge of CBT/DBT and evidence-based modalities
