LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER
is responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families under supervision. The role focuses on supporting clients with mental health challenges, promoting their well-being, and assisting them in achieving their personal goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance professional development and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Support clients in crisis situations by implementing appropriate interventions and referrals.
  • Engage in community outreach and education to promote mental health awareness and resources.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
Qualifications:

Required Education:
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Required Experience:
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, preferably in a therapeutic setting.
  • Internship or practicum experience in a clinical environment during graduate studies.
  • Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or other evidence-based practices.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients with various mental health disorders.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in the field of mental health therapy.
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity to work with diverse populations.
Salary Range:
$21.73 per hour
