Job Description

Galt Ocean Rehab is a leading substance use and mental health facility located on the serene Galt Ocean mile near the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea pier. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health disorders. Our holistic approach combines clinical expertise with a supportive environment to promote healing and long-term recovery.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care, counseling, and support to individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Collaborate with the Program Director to support clinical operations. Conduct therapy sessions using various modalities with individuals, groups, and families. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the highest standards of client care and team performance. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and outcomes. Availability in afternoons and evenings required.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Experience:
Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor preferred. Minimum of two years in a substance use treatment setting. Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and ability to build rapport with clients who may be treatment-resistant. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines. We are currently hiring for day and evening positions. The ideal candidate will be expected to facilitate and document group and individual therapy sessions weekly and crisis intervention when necessary.
