We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Intensive Outpatient Therapist to join our team! Job Overview The IOP Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to clients participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program. This position provides individual, group, and family therapy. The IOP Therapist is also responsible for maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, providing crisis intervention and case management. The IOP Therapist works collaboratively with the clinical team to promote effective treatment, client safety, recovery, and continuity of care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders using evidence-based therapeutic modalities within the clinician's scope of practice. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial, trauma, and suicide risk assessments. Evaluate family systems and assess clients' functioning in areas such as work, family relationships, daily living, and other areas requiring continued support, treatment, or community resources. Develop, implement, and review Master Treatment Plans and Treatment Plan Reviews based on clients' clinical needs and treatment goals. Provide therapeutic interventions, including crisis counseling and support for individuals, groups, and families. Facilitate family therapy at least once per week, either in person or via telephone or Zoom, as clinically appropriate. Provide case management, consultation, referrals, education, discharge planning, follow-up, and aftercare services as needed. Provide direct clinical care and support in accordance with the individual's professional discipline, scope of practice, Florida statutes and regulations governing mental health and substance use disorder services, and established standards of clinical practice. Complete timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation, including individual and group progress notes, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, transfer/discharge summaries, and case records. Complete group documentation within 24 hours and weekly individual progress notes no later than Sunday. Maintain clinical records that accurately reflect the client's course of treatment and meet facility, regulatory, and professional requirements. Respond to client emergencies and provide crisis support during scheduled work hours and, when required, after hours and on weekends. Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other activities that support effective clinical operations and quality client care. Collaborate with the Program Director and Clinical Director on the development and implementation of 10P/OP group curriculum. Collaborate with the Program Director and clinical team to support daily clinical operations and promote high standards of client care. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community providers and referral resources to support continuity of care. Collect and analyze clinical data to monitor client progress, treatment outcomes, and program effectiveness. Demonstrate professional leadership by communicating respectfully, supporting team members, and contributing positively to the clinical environment. Participate in holiday group rotations and other assigned clinical coverage. Maintain compliance with all applicable professional, ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards. Perform other related duties as assigned or directed by the Program Director and direct supervisor.

Skills and Qulifications:

Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Valid state licensure as a therapist or counselor preferred. Minimum of two years in a substance use treatment setting. Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and ability to build rapport with clients who may be treatment-resistant . Strong communication and Interpersonal Skills. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
