Our therapists provide psychotherapeutic interventions to children and their families, including assessing treatment needs, developing and reviewing treatment plans, and determining discharge criteria in a School-Based and Outpatient Setting. Therapists are responsible for completing and maintaining required intake forms,documentation, and discharge planning by specified dates, and maintaining outcome measures for the effectiveness of treatment. Tykes & Teens is a CE-Broker supported organization and we provide over 12 hours of continued education per year in addition to weekly staffing to support your clinical growth. We also provide free clinical supervision toward licensure. This is a Full-Time Position. Clients would be seen in BOTH School-Based and Outpatient Settings.
The experience you will bring:
Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or another applicable human services degree. Bilingual (English/Spanish/Haitian) is a plus,but not required. A valid Florida driver's license and auto liability insurance is required. An ability to work in a team environment. Licensed or Must Become a registered intern under Florida Statutes 490 or 491- and two years of experience in working with children and families.
Licensed positions require:
An active and clear State of Florida License - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT. OR Must become a registered Intern with the state within' 90 days of employment The pay range is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
