Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapists/ Social Workers to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals, children, and families across diverse settings. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and committed to fostering positive change in the lives of those they serve. This position will require the therapist/social worker to become a subcontractor with state. Therapist will provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. This role focuses exclusively on clinical therapy , supporting case plans through assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and collaboration with child‑welfare teams. This contract (1099) position must be willing to become credentialed with Medicaid/Amerigroup working with Hope for the Future Counseling Services, LLC. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and behavior management techniques Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health crisis. Develop and monitor treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and ensure accurate medical records using EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW) with state of GA (Must show proof of licensure). Experience with crisis management techniques and trauma-focused interventions Familiarity with clinical research standards and medical terminology relevant to mental health care Proficiency in clinical documentation standards using EMR/EHR systems and telehealth platforms Ability to work effectively with children with developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder Must show proof of liability insurance Must complete virtual trainings Must pass a background screening Must pass a CPS screening Join us in creating a supportive environment where every client's journey toward mental wellness is prioritized.
