We are seeking a Mental Health Counseling Intern who is passionate about behavioral health and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical setting.
Position Overview :
As a Social Work or Counseling Intern at Nulife Behavioral Health, you will work directly under the supervision of licensed clinicians and therapists, providing support to clients while gaining valuable experience in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related fields.
Responsibilities :
Assist in conducting client assessments and intake interviews Observe and participate in individual and group therapy sessions Support the development of treatment plans under the guidance of licensed clinicians Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress Help coordinate patient care and facilitate communication between clients and the treatment team Participate in case discussions, supervision meetings, and ongoing training Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications :
Currently enrolled in University in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Strong interest in behavioral health and mental health services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required
