Job Description

Howard Health, LLC. is seeking a part/full time social worker that is interested in working in the community. Service Areas will be of the employees preference and convenience but can range from the following
Counties:
Madison, Marion, Hancock, Hamilton, Delaware, Boone, Hendricks, and Morgan. Howard Health, LLC is a registered agency with the Department of Mental Health and Addiction and is a contractor of varying state agencies. The role of skills training would require a certification that Howard Health, LLC would provide the necessary training requirements for: These services will consist of working with qualified children and youth in regards to improving his/her level of functioning, quality of life, social skills, and strengths. Provider will work with individuals in regards to identifying feelings, managing emotions, healthy communication, decision making, turning peer pressure into pro-social skills, integrate positive coping skills, and acquire appropriate interactions with adults & peers. Provider will utilize the community and client's home in regards to learning and practicing skills. Provider would also provider casework and supervised visitations regarding child welfare through the Department of Child Services. Casework will be a service provided to individuals in his/her home or community. Casework goals will consist but not be limited to: housing, employment, drug/alcohol treatment resources, employment, and ability to maintain an efficient and healthy lifestyle for the family. Howard Health will utilize appropriate resources to fit client needs/goals. Pay rates may be increased over time dependent upon productivity and family feedback. Other services/referrals are available for applicant if interested.
