Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in child and family counseling, possess strong skills in motivational interviewing, and be knowledgeable in cognitive behavioral therapy. Experience with PTSD care and telehealth services is a plus. Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
- Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with various mental health issues Experience
- Previous experience in child and family counseling is required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and social work practices is beneficial
- Proficiency in coding for medical billing purposes is advantageous
- Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred
- Knowledge of telehealth platforms for remote counseling services
