Clinical consultation, support, and supervision opportunities are available for clinicians pursuing independent licensure. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and client-centered Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team as an independent contractor. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician or a pre-licensed therapist seeking professional growth, clinical supervision, and experience working with diverse populations across the Kansas City metropolitan area. The therapist will provide on-site individual and group counseling services to adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of mental health and life challenges. Clients may include individuals affected by trauma, domestic violence, human trafficking, substance use, homelessness, family conflict, abuse, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health concerns. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, cultural humility, professionalism, and a commitment to providing ethical, trauma-informed care. Clinical Supervision Pre-licensed clinicians requiring supervision toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. Clinical supervision opportunities may be available for qualified candidates in accordance with Kansas and Missouri board requirements and organizational policies. Essential Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services utilizing evidence-based and person-centered treatment approaches.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, community organizations, and referral partners.
• Identify and respond appropriately to mental health crises and safety concerns.
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, and professional development activities as required.
• Adhere to all HIPAA, ethical, licensing, and organizational requirements.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapeutic environment for all clients. Qualifications
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Kansas and/or Missouri.
• Open to applicants with

PLPC, LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, CIT

• Also open to counseling interns and pre-licensed
• Supervisor will be provided to candidates needing supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between service locations within the Kansas City metropolitan area. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience providing individual and/or group therapy.
• Experience working with culturally diverse and underserved populations.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
• Experience supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, human trafficking, substance use disorders, homelessness, and trauma.
