DBT Mental Health Therapist (Full-Time) - Metro Detroit / Southfield About DBTIMI The DBT Institute of Michigan is a mental health clinical striving to teach its clients how to build a life worth living through effective use of evidence-based therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We offer outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and residential at this location. The co-owners Josh Smith and Diana Osborn opened the Institute with offices currently in Mason (headquarters), Metro Detroit, and Wyoming, MI.

Position Description Provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to adolescent and adult clients in our outpatient program and IOP program. At our Mason location, there is also potential to work with our adult female residential program. Employee shall report to the Mason DBT Team Leader. We are a facility with BCBS/BCN, so limited license providers are encouraged to apply. Essential Duties and Requirements Employee shall conduct assessments, individual therapy sessions, IOP sessions, residential sessions, group sessions, after hour skills coaching sessions, treatment planning and family sessions as needed. This job also requires employee to attend weekly DBT Consultation Team meeting. Employee shall complete all related clinical documentation in a professional and timely manner. It is required for the employee to take part in program evaluation as well as to collect any outcome data the Institute uses on clients. Ability to work in a fast paced, growing clinic as a team player. Professional and organizational abilities must be impeccable. Proficient with technology. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively in writing and verbally.
