On-site Position Summary The Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. The therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals. This role requires strong clinical skills, cultural competence, and a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients with diverse mental health needs Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards Utilize evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused interventions, or solution-focused therapy Collaborate with other providers, case managers, peer specialists, and medical personnel as needed Participate in clinical team meetings, supervision, and trainings Respond to client crises and support safety planning as appropriate Promote wellness, recovery, and resilience in all therapeutic work Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in alignment with licensing and professional guidelines

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Current licensure or license eligibility (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in Mississippi (CMHT, PCMHT) Experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health setting Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care

Preferred:

Two or more years of post-graduate clinical experience Bilingual (Spanish, ASL, or other languages) Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth platforms Experience working with co-occurring disorders, youth, or underserved populations Work Environment & Schedule Full-time Flexible scheduling may be available based on program needs May include some evening or weekend hours Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and manage client caseload Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and licensure Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, holidays, and professional development days Clinical supervision and CEU opportunities provided Retirement plan options available

Pay:

$30.00 - $42.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
