- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Provide individual therapy utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral interventions, and other appropriate clinical modalities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs, goals, and presenting concerns.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, insurance, and practice standards.
- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide both in-person and telehealth therapy services as appropriate.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, schools, and other professionals when clinically appropriate and with proper client authorization.
- Assess and respond appropriately to crisis situations and safety concerns while following established clinical protocols. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Current North Carolina clinical license or associate-level license, such as LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, or LMFTA.
- Knowledge of
DSM-5-TR
diagnostic criteria and ICD-10 coding.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, professional approach to client care.
- Ability to appropriately assess and manage crisis situations and maintain professional boundaries.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule based on clinician availability and client needs.
