Duties Implement ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in behavioral interventions Collect and record detailed behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, and self-care Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide updates on progress and collaborate on care strategies Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and proper recordkeeping Participate in training sessions on ethical standards, medical terminology, and implementing ABA therapy protocols to enhance professional skills Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental disorders Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, behavior management, and behavior health strategies Ability to collect, analyze, and document behavioral data accurately using medical records and behavioral data collection tools Excellent communication skills for client interaction, caregiver support, and interdisciplinary collaboration Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient care documentation Experience working in home-based settings or school environments is highly desirable Demonstrated professionalism adhering to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Embark on a rewarding career path where your dedication transforms lives!
