Key Responsibilities OneonOne Therapy:
Conduct individual counseling sessions tailored to meet each student's specific clinical, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Group Therapy:
Plan, structure, and facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on socialemotional learning, coping mechanisms, peer relationships, and behavioral regulation.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner closely with academic staff, behavioral specialists, and administrative leadership to ensure cohesive support across classroom and clinical settings.
Progress Tracking & Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans in alignment with academy policies and standard operating procedures.
Crisis Prevention & Intervention:
Utilize proactive support strategies and provide immediate crisis intervention as needed to maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
Active professional clinical license or school counseling/social work credential (e.g., LSW/LCSW, LPC/LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent).
Experience:
Background working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a clinical, therapeutic day school, or specialized educational setting.
Skills:
Strong grounding in evidencebased therapeutic modalities, excellent interpersonal communication, and strong crisisdeescalation abilities.
