Position Overview The Therapist is a licensed mental health professional who provides therapeutic services to youth and adults enrolled in services at Acumen Therapeutics. This role is centered on supporting the emotional, behavioral, and social development of children and adults through individual and group interventions, assessments, and ongoing treatment planning. This position plays a critical role in shaping the therapeutic experience for our clients by creating safe spaces, building trusting relationships, and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate care. Key Responsibilities Provide individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis. Facilitate group therapy sessions and therapeutic activities as needed. Complete intake and onboarding assessments for all assigned clients. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans. Conduct diagnostic assessments in alignment with agency policies and timelines. Administer and track outcome measures (e.g., GAD-7, PHQ-9, and other evidence-based tools). Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (within 48 hours). Monitor client progress and document any significant behavioral or emotional changes. Collaborate with QMHS staff and other team members to support client goals. Participate in clinical supervision with the Clinical Director. Attend and actively engage in team meetings, program planning, and case discussions. Support the design and implementation of therapeutic activities for after-school and summer programs. Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive care to all clients. Assist in connecting youth and families to appropriate community resources. Utilize telehealth platforms as needed to deliver services. Qualifications Active licensure in the state of Ohio (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, or equivalent) Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Master's preferred) Minimum of 3 years of experience Strong understanding of child and adolescent development Experience providing individual and/or group therapy Knowledge of evidence-based practices and outcome measurement tools Ability to engage youth in a supportive, creative, and developmentally appropriate manne Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Additional Requirements Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Successful completion of background check and drug screening Ability to travel locally as needed to support program delivery Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program spaces for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs, and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
